About the Artist
Illustrator J. Wecker Frisch lives near Saint Louis, Missouri. Janet works from a secluded home studio, which she finds is an ideal place to create. She received early training from artist father John F. Wecker and formal training later in commercial art. An observing eye and a God given talent allow her to create admired images that delight.
Janet’s work combines realistic tendencies with fine detail, resulting in a much loved classic style all her own. A collection of memories and visual study of life are often found in her images. Other inspirational sources include vintage illustration, nature and people. Her character’s fun and funny faces are often exclaimed to be a specialty and set her apart.
Janet has enjoyed licensing her art to a number of large manufacturers. Among the products are fabric, dinnerware, wall covering, embroidery design, woven throws & pillows, gift bags, stationary, flags, tempered glass and puzzles. Having the opportunity to connect with admirers through her images has been a pleasure and fulfilled a childhood dream.

Tidings of Great Joy
Like most of you the Charlie Brown Christmas Special has been a part of our holiday tradition since childhood. My favorite scene of course, when Linus begins to tell the Christmas story
in an answer to Charlie’s question, “Can anyone tell me what Christmas is all about?” The lights go dim and with everyone quiet Linus begins in his sweet, tender voice, “And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the fields, keeping watch over their flocks by night.” He continues to tell us the tidings of a great joy.
Tidings of Great Joy, LLC was started in the early 1980s and offered a wonderfully crafted line of holiday ornaments. We are especially honored that these have been a part of your
family's holiday tradition and we thank you.
Great Joy,
Janet
